For years I have been dreaming of viewing the Manhattan skyline from Empire state building. During last year visit, my son convinced me to go to 30, Rockfeller Center's Observation Deck, instead. Truly, amazing sight.
Many of the buildings are more than 100 years old and there were no modern machineries while building them. Truly some of these buildings are architectural marvels.
In the following picture, the famous Central Park is at the background:
Following one is probably the best.
By the way, the famous TV sitcom '30 Rock' derives its name from this building i.e., 30 Rockfeller Center.

DeleteExcellent images.
ReplyDeleteRavi,
ReplyDeleteNice photographs with a useful intro about the age of some of those architechural marvels.
Here are my thoughts:
After the first 4-5 pictures it got a bit monotonous because all the pictures were similar wide perspective / landscape photos.
If you had zoomed in to focus on one element in some photos, add some human interest and maybe a short note after each photo it would have become even more interesting.
However, its great that you brought a different view of New York to us.
Cheers!
Thanks, my friend for your frank comments. Really appreciate it. Point taken. Pictures with human element/interest i.e., pictures with me or my son are for my wife's FB ;-)
DeleteThanks for visiting my page.
